🌟 Celebrating 35 Years of Service🌟

Congratulations Garry Davis

Today we recognise an incredible milestone for Garry Davis, who has dedicated an amazing 35 years of volunteering with St John Ambulance in Donnybrook and Mount Magnet 👏🚑

For three and a half decades, Garry has generously given his time, skills and care to help others and support our local community. His commitment to St John Ambulance is a wonderful example of what volunteering is all about — putting others first, being there when people need help, and giving back to the community he calls home. ❤️

Thirty-five years is an extraordinary achievement, and the impact Garry has made over that time cannot be measured. We are incredibly grateful for the countless hours, events, emergencies and community activities he has supported.

Thank you, Garry, for 35 years of selfless service and for everything you continue to give to the Donnybrook community. 🙏

🧐BONUS TRAINING NIGHT🧐

The team had an awesome training night last night. We hosted Amy from Regional Office, Amy is the Clinical Development Coordinator based in Geraldton and she came over to facilitate some training for us. St John WA - Midwest

Obstetrics was the topic of the night - with a huge shout out to the STORC Team (STate Obstetrics Referral Call Team) who are there 24/7 on call to assist for all obstetrics calls to St John WA crews! 🚑💚

We love to celebrate EMT scope achievement with presenting the volunteer with their stethoscope!
They pick their colour and we surprise them with engraving & presenting it to them at the end their first training back with their new scope! Congratulations AP72885 Sephe ✨

✨Did you know✨
Many school principals around the state are volunteers! For those who aren’t volunteers, they support their staff in attending priority calls to support their communities!

Lucky us at MTM21 we have a principal and 2 deputies in our ranks! So to all those principals who support vollies to do what they do - thank you!

🧐TRAINING WEEK🧐

This week the team got together for our regular training night. This fortnight we looked at Diabetes & Overdose. The team were able to practice their skills & improve their practice.

We also celebrated the arrival of our new Subcentre t-shirts. Last year we were lucky enough to purchase a beautiful artwork from Wirnda Barna Art Centre. This artwork, painted by Annie Walsh sits proudly in the Subcentre and is the focal point on our new t-shirts. We are looking forward to celebrating their arrival with Annie and the art centre team.

Plus a guest appearance by our newest recruit - Barney🐾
