Step into an inspiring afternoon of flowers, art and slow making at FABRIK in Lobethal

Hosted in a dedicated creative space alongside fellow artists, this intimate botanical workshop invites you to slow down, connect and create in a beautiful and welcoming setting.

Discover the fine art of flower pressing and create a beautiful floral art piece using carefully preserved seasonal blooms, petals and botanicals.

Guided through composition, colour, texture and layering techniques, you’ll transform delicate blooms into a framed artwork to take away.

Adding to the atmosphere of the day, guests may also like to explore the International Art Textile exhibition & meet the Studio Makers.

Designed for all experience levels, the workshop offers a relaxed and welcoming space to gather, create and be inspired.

Afternoon tea is provided.

One of the things I love most is welcoming people of all ages into a creative space and sharing the joy and beauty of flowers.

Alongside my botanical workshops, I also offer mindfulness and nature-based art therapy sessions for children aged 5 years and above. Through creativity, gentle mindfulness practices, and time in nature, I help children develop simple tools and strategies to manage worries, build resilience, and nurture emotional wellbeing in a calm and supportive environment.

Surrounded by the stunning ‘More Than Petals’ exhibition by Kate Brew of One Fat Emu. Set within the character filled surrounds of Netherhill Farm, join The Green Room Adelaide for a mindful, hands-on creative experience

You'll explore the textures, patterns, colour relationships and delicate forms found in flowers. Guided through simple artistic principles including composition, contrast and visual balance, you'll create your unique framed botancial artwork using carefully pressed blooms

This workshop invites curiosity, creativity and mindfulness observation - slowing down to notice the intricate details, layered textures and natural rhythms that make botanicals so captivating

No experience required - simply come ready to create, connect and see nature through a new lens

There will be food and drinks available for sale on the day and a stunning curated pop-up shop featuring vintage pieces, homewares and seasonal finds to complement the exhibition atmosphere

A joyful and fun workshop where young makers will explore the beauty of flowers and the wonder of our natural world. They'll create their own in unique pressed floral framed artwork and decorate a beautiful clay ornament to take home as treasured keepsakes. Along the way, they'll learn about the delicate art of flower pressing while enjoying this fun, hands-on experience designed to encourage creativity, mindfulness and connection with nature. Light lunch and drinks provided. Ages 5 - 14 years. No experience needed - all materials provided.
