Since its establishment in 2021, Innovative Care Tasmania has become a trusted and respected NDIS-registered service provider, delivering high-quality, person-centred support services across Tasmania. Built on the values of respect, compassion, integrity, professionalism, and participant choice, our organisation is committed to empowering individuals to live independent, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.
What began as a vision to support people with disabilities and older Australians to achieve their goals has grown into a thriving organisation that positively impacts the lives of participants, families, carers, and communities throughout Tasmania.
Over the years, Innovative Care Tasmania has supported individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, age groups, and abilities through tailored services funded by the NDIS and My Aged Care programs. By focusing on each person's strengths, aspirations, and individual needs, we have helped participants develop greater independence, confidence, social connections, and overall well-being.
Our comprehensive range of services includes personal care, domestic assistance, Supported Independent Living (SIL), community participation, social and recreational activities, transport assistance, capacity-building supports, life skills development, nursing care, health-related support, and support coordination. Every service is designed to help participants achieve meaningful outcomes while maintaining choice and control over their lives.
One of our most significant achievements has been reducing social isolation and increasing community participation among the people we support. Through creative arts programs, music activities, community outings, bushwalking groups, park visits, social gatherings, and recreational programs, participants have developed new friendships, strengthened communication skills, improved self-confidence, and become more actively involved in their communities.
Many participants who initially required significant support to engage in community activities now confidently attend programs, participate in social events, build relationships, and pursue personal interests. Families and carers frequently report positive changes in participants' confidence, independence, emotional well-being, and quality of life.
