What does it mean to relate to water as a sentient being when it is in a state of collapse?
Join us at the Robina Community Art Gallery on April 2nd for a deep-dive panel discussion as we launch Aqua Limina: The Pulse of Water.
This isn’t just an art talk. We’re bringing together a powerhouse group to explore the intersections of environmental chemistry, community advocacy, and the creative spirit. From the "tide-marked" pillars of the Tallebudgera Bridge to the deeper ethical questions of our natural world, we’re looking at water from every angle.
Meet our Panelists:
🔬 Dr. Nadeeka Rathnayake – Senior Scientist (Environmental Chemistry)
🎨 Karen McPhail-Bell – Aqua Limina Artist (Sociological/Philosophical focus)
📸 Paul Harris – Aqua Limina Artist (Visual focus on the Tallebudgera Creek)
– President of (Community Advocate)
🎤 Chaired by: Lisa Behan
Come for the art, stay for the conversation, and leave with a new perspective on the waterways that sustain us.
