Mt Gambier ➡️ Wallaroo in hurry 🩺 Made it just in time for the birth of a new local 👶 This is how we rural doctors do 👌 We work with our iconic midwives to make sure babies continue to be born on country and the mothers are safe and looked after 🫄 A pregnant woman otherwise having to travel hundreds of miles to a big city just to give birth is a big deal. Especially if you have to leave other kids at home. You wanna make a difference with your degree in health? Come work rural too. That simple 🙌

Immensly proud of Lauren who this month started working as a doctor 🩺 and last month was awarded the Australian Medical Association SA student medal 🏅 It's been my privelege to mentor and work with you over the last 6 years..looking forward to the new life you breathe into the system 🙌 Dinner is on you next time...you know when you are head of unit and cure some rare condition or something 😁
