Last Friday, our Aged Care Team hosted a stall at the Aged Care Expo, where we had the wonderful opportunity to connect with members, share valuable information and raise awareness of the support and services we offer.

Our cancer program, in partnership with Breast Screen SA and the McGrath Foundation, hosted a special breast screening event for women in the Victor Harbor Community. 🩷

The aim was to create a culturally safe, welcoming and comfortable space where women could feel relaxed, supported and empowered throughout the screening process. It was also an opportunity to connect, enjoy a cuppa, have a yarn and share experiences in a supportive and inclusive environment.

To complement the screening experience, a range of wellness activities was offered, including nail care and soothing massages, providing participants with an opportunity to relax, unwind and prioritise their wellbeing.

Thank you to Cassie from Breast Screen SA and Elise from the McGrath Foundation for their dedication, collaboration and support in bringing this meaningful event to life.

We look forward to continuing these important conversations and working together to ensure women in our community feel informed, supported and empowered to prioritise their health and wellbeing.

Our team had a wonderful day at the Ngarrindjeri Cultural Day in Meningie!

It was a deadly day filled with culture, connection, learning and Community. There were plenty of interactive cultural activities, stallholders, information and opportunities for Community to come together, yarn and celebrate our Ngarrindjeri culture.

The beautiful views overlooking the lake made the day even more special.

A huge well done and thank you to NLPAC and everyone involved in organising and making this incredible day happen.

⚫️ Visit your local Moorundi Clinic to collect your free at-home bowel screening kit.

We are pleased to announce a Breast Screening Mobile Event in collaboration with BreastScreen SA 🩷📣

📅 Date: Tuesday, 13th of October 2026
📍 Location: Victor Harbor Hospital, Harbor View Terrace, Victor Harbor SA 5253 SA

This event provides eligible women with access to free breast screening services in a convenient/ comfortable local setting. Followed by a lunch and activities.

⚫️ Join the NLPAC Junior Rangers Program for a special Cultural Day on 8 October, from 10:00am–2:00pm at the Meningie Sailing Club.

🟡 Enjoy a day of feather flower making, weaving, art, dance and cultural food, with activities and experiences provided throughout the day.
