You can add sauerkraut to almost anything you are eating. This recipe I made some time back leans really well to being served with a lovely side of sauerkraut.

Yum and a whole lot of fun.

The sauerkraut club is $135 for a full year's membership. We meet every 3 to 4 weeks online in the club, we make different versions of sauerkraut and cook with it.

The next intake of the sauerkraut club is happening on the 10th June.

If you add calcium rich food into every meal you will meet you RDI ensuring you build strong bones.

But if you leave it to chance you are sure to be eating plenty of meals that are low in calcium.

If you add 1/2 cup sauerkraut or other fermented foods into your diet you are sure to obtain enough vitamin K into your diet to help the calcium reach the places in your body that needs the calcium.

If you get out into the sun for 30 minutes a day with 30% of your body exposed to the sun or eat daily mushrooms that have been tanned in the sun to help the calcium absorb in your body then you you have a good chance of having strong bones.

If you leave it to chance you may not get enough vitamin K 2 or vitamin D.

He makes sure he eats complete protein every meal.

For breakfast that looks like sour dough bread with seeds and cashew cheese and sour dough and tegemite (which has tahini miso and noosh in it) with flax seeds.

For lunch an example is salad with tempeh and quinoa

And dinner

Dhal and rice with a tonne of veggies.

Or hearty soup with cannellini beans and pepita sparkle

He also has jindili nuts (macadamias) and snickers bar for snacks.

For his age and activity level he needs 112g protein and he meets that every day.

This month in the living well with veet cooking and nutrition collective we are covering Italian food and everything we make has a nutrition focus and has complete protein. In the month of July we are focusing on protein rich meals.

Come join the fun.

yahoo
Two people joined the Living Well with Veet Cooking and Nutrition collective after watching the recording of the snickers bar class.

Why did they join

They told me it was because
the class was fun
and they were really happy
to be with like minded people (and they weren’t even in the class live, wait till they get to be there live - so much fun)

It is really fun doing the class once with me but
what is even better is getting ongoing inspiration and accountability.

That is why I created the Living well with Veet cooking and nutrition collective.

As I want you to get inspired each month to create and learn new recipes
and to learn new cooking skills
because as you do that it will have the flow on affects that is going to benefit
your health
your lifesyle
your family
your enjoyment of food
give you more energy
have you feeling more vibrant

And that’s the purpose and why I created the collective so I can give you the support and you can have fun and really experience how achievable it is to add more plant based food into your diet

and with the added bonus of cooking along side ike minded people.

A few people mentioned how wonderful the participants in the snickers bar class were last week.
I can honsetly say I always and always have attracted really lovely and special people to the work I offer.

So come join us and lets start a cooking revolution. Let’s start cooking with others and you really nurture your body in the process.
