Correction and opening the heart with self compassion:
We are in a time of great correction, where we are releasing all distortions of self. We are returning to our Origins. Thus, we are having to uncover and disassemble the patterns, the beliefs and states that keep us separate and lost as a Soul. It's big and heavy work and many clients I meet are feeling extreme exhaustion.
Self compassion is one of the Golden Keys to your inner process. We are not naturally inclined to hold ourselves in friendship, we are more inclined to be harsh and judgemental. This is part of the correction we are in. Self criticism and Self judgement is thought to be part of the fight flight survival system of our ancestors. It is our habitual response when we feel wrong, faked, guilty or have made a mistake. At the core of this old programming is actual fear if we don't judge ourselves, if we are not hard on ourselves, we will never improve, we won't be the person we want to be. This solidifies our identity as a bad Self, developing a core belief something is wrong with you. When a person is kind to you, you feel acceptance and belonging. This is the best feeling in the world, and one we need to offer abundantly to our own selves. Self criticism and judgment cuts us off from the shelter and embrace of this kind of belonging which can then set up a struggle in being alive. The call isn't to fix a broken version of yourself. It is making the conscious shift to view yourself in the context of the Truth of Love.
You are not a problem to be solved. You are a soul returning home
As you take a deep breath, let your heart soften and ask: How beautifully would my life unfold if I stopped managing my flaws through the eyes of fear, and instead allowed myself to be held by the Truth of Love? 🕊️✨
Self compassion requires practice and quiet continuous devotion. Something we can offer ourselves are phrases of loving kindness during our deconstruction and reconstruction process...
This week, I invite you to shift away from negativity bias. Practice quiet, continuous devotion to your own heart.
A Gentle Practice:
Place your hand tenderly over your heart, take a deep, grounding breath, and whisper these phrases of loving-kindness to yourself:
✨ I am doing the best I can in every moment.
✨ I accept myself just as I am.
✨ It's ok to be imperfect.
✨ I belong.
✨ I am beloved, cherished, held, and wanted by the universe of love.
✨ Love is always loving me.
Allow the care and kindness to sink into your physical and energetic body. You are doing beautiful work, dear soul. Be gentle with your process. 🌸
