Most of us are seriously f*ckn over the pace and pressure of modern life. With it leaving many of us feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed and pretty bloody disconnected from ourselves.
It makes sense that people wanna explore fresh ways to support their wellbeing and breathwork is becoming an increasingly popular way to do that.
Having shared this modality for over 20 years now, I often describe it as the “new yoga”. Why? - because breathwork offers a simple, powerful and tangible way to work with the nervous system and strengthen the connection between body and mind.
Like yoga, there’s many different approaches, but at its heart is the practice of bringing awareness and intention to something we do every moment of every day: breathing.
Which means conscious breathing gives us an opportunity to become active participants in how we feel, respond and regulate.
The real magic is in bringing these tools into everyday life, not simply using breathwork as a one-off peak experience, but integrating it as an essential life skill. ✨
The exciting news….as breathwork becomes more accessible, more people are discovering new ways to take an active role in their health and wellbeing, explore different states of consciousness without substances, and finding practices that actually resonate with them.
Your breath is always with you. Learning to work with it might be one of the simplest and most powerful places to begin.
