We had a great time cooking the BBQ at the Muswellbrook Wellness Expo yesterday!

We really enjoyed getting behind the grill and serving up the sausage sizzle while chatting with so many people from the community. It was a busy afternoon, and it was great to see everyone out checking out what health and wellbeing support is available locally.

Thanks to Muswellbrook Shire Council for having us, to all the services who set up stalls, and to everyone who stopped by for a sausage. We loved seeing you all!

A huge thank you to Roses Hair Studio for donating $200 to the Warriors from their Daddy & Daughter Hair Class! They generously gave half of everything raised on the day to us, and we're so touched.

The money will go towards end of year activities for the Warriors. We're so lucky to have such an amazing, supportive local community.

Thanks again, Rose's, and to all the dads and daughters who got involved! 💛

Warrior Disability Services visited the Muswellbrook Community Garden at the Sustainability Hub today.

🫗 Watered
🍌🪱💩 Composted food and coffee waste from local cafes
🥕🫛 Harvested Cauliflower, Carrots, Peas and Cauliflower
🐔 Feed the chickens and collected eggs

The Warriors turn this food into healthy meals for their team.

What a weekend! Here's a quick recap of what the Warriors got up to:

The amazing Kim and Kaz ran the ship at the Bengalla Open Day, giving out Warrior bags and succulents our Warriors have been growing for the last 12 months. (If you got one, let us know in the comments!) Thank you for the incredible job getting everything ready, ladies! Some of our Warriors attended too, and had an amazing time.

Meanwhile, Sal and Josh were in Newcastle celebrating Josh's nomination for Most Outstanding Employee at the Hunter Business Awards! We didn't come away with the win, but we were so privileged just to be there. So proud of you, Josh!

Finally, some of our Warriors headed to Sydney for Comic Con. This is something they'd been working and saving for all year. A huge thank you to Kylie and Chris for supporting them and helping make it an unforgettable weekend.
Warriors work hard and play hard, making goals and dreams come together!
