📣 IMPORTANT COVID UPDATE 📣
As SA prepares to open its state borders, we would like to take this opportunity to inform our clients as to how Adelaide Hills Remedial Massage intends to move forward with Covid restrictions easing in our community.
As per usual, we will continue our strict hygiene standards of sanitizing equipment between clients, all linen is laundered at high temperatures to kill any bacteria, we will continue wearing masks throughout the treatment, and washing and sanitizing our hands to prevent cross contamination between therapist and client.
As of the 23rd November we will be emailing clients a Covid Pre-screening check that we will require to be filled out prior to arriving to their appointment.
On arrival, we require our clients to QR check-in and make use of the sanitizer we have provided. If any of our clients are concerned to be in any public waiting areas, we invite you to either wait in your car or outside and the therapist can bring you directly into the treatment room to minimise contact with other patients. We can also organise for contactless payments via bank transfer prior to treatment, and a receipt can be emailed for health claim rebates.
Due to the high-risk nature of our work with social distancing a physical impossibility, we have taken the precaution and each therapist has been vaccinated for Covid19. We also respectfully ask our clients to disclose their current vaccination status with us so we can book them in with the appropriate therapist. We have therapists that are in close contact with vulnerable family members so will only be offering treatments to fully vaccinated clients to help minimise any risk for them.
For clients that are not fully vaccinated due to exemption or personal choice and receiving treatment, we will provide a single use surgical mask, to be worn when in a supine position for the duration of treatment. If we feel there is a heightened risk of Covid19 in our region, we may require our unvaccinated clients to postpone treatments until any local outbreaks can be contained.
We have thought long and hard on these decisions and they have not come lightly.
We are a Pro-Choice business and we respect each and every one of our clients’ choices and understand that they have to do what they feel is right for themselves and their loved ones. We are doing the same for our clients, families and selves so ask that our choices also be respected.
