Not every season is meant for growth.

Some seasons are meant for healing.

Some are meant for slowing down.

Some are meant for reinvention.

The problem isn't that you're moving slowly.

The problem is comparing your winter to someone else's spring.

What season are you in right now?

We've had an abundance of oranges and mandarins lately, so I've been making fresh citrus juice and adding lemon water into my day. πŸŠπŸ‹
Stress can place extra demands on the body, which is why I love focusing on the simple real medicine we have on hand - fresh seasonal produce, making the most of what nature is already providing.
When we're stressed we excrete vitamin C from our adrenal glands.
So its important to include high vitamin C produce into your diet daily to help with your immune system, joint health and collagen to name a few.

Your body wasn't designed to live in constant survival mode.

If high cortisol is showing up as poor sleep, digestive issues, fatigue, or feeling constantly stressed, start with the basics:

β˜€οΈ Morning sunlight
πŸ₯š Healthy clean breakfasts
πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ Gentle daily movement
🌿 Time in nature
😴 Prioritising sleep
🦢 Daily barefoot grounding
β˜•οΈ Reduce or quit caffeine

Small daily habits can make a big difference over time.

Need some support to get back on track? DM me 'health' and we'll chat.

Linda 😊

You've probably organised everything for baby already, but here are the essentials I recommend for YOUR nourishment and support while you nurture baby.
βœ“ Batch cook freezer meals
βœ“ Prepare nourishing postpartum snacks and freeze them
βœ“ Organise grocery delivery
βœ“ Arrange a cleaner or ask for practical help
βœ“ Fill water bottles and create breastfeeding/hydration stations around the house
βœ“ Stock up on postpartum herbal teas
βœ“ Have easy-to-reheat meals and healthy convenience foods available
βœ“ Book a postpartum home visit massage
βœ“ Find a pelvic floor physio
βœ“ Research a lactation and sleep consultant before birth
βœ“ Find a chiropractor or osteopath who does home visits
βœ“ Set up a nappy changing station on each level of the house
βœ“ Create a feeding basket (snacks, water, lip balm, phone charger, tissues, burp cloths)
βœ“ Buy postpartum recovery items (pads, peri bottle, ice packs if desired, yoni steam herbs for when the bleeding stops)
βœ“ Prepare comfortable breastfeeding-friendly clothing and pyjamas
βœ“ Organise support and activities for older children
βœ“ Have a list of people you can call for help
βœ“ Stock your freezer with ice for drinks, smoothies and recovery packs
βœ“ Download audiobooks, podcasts or shows for feeding sessions
βœ“ Prepare a bedside recovery basket
βœ“ Stock up on supplements and medications approved by your healthcare provider
βœ“ Have nourishing ingredients ready for smoothies and protein-rich breakfasts
βœ“ Set realistic expectations for visitors and boundaries
βœ“ Discuss partner responsibilities before baby arrives

In the midst of caring for a newborn, simple things like clean hair, hydrated skin and a moment of self-care can feel like a gift. I also recommend these -

βœ“ Dry shampoo (DM 'dry shampoo' for a non-toxic recommendation)
βœ“ Gentle and nourishing haircare products (DM 'hair' for best recommendations)
βœ“ Hair ties and clips within easy reach
βœ“ Simple skincare routine (DM 'skin' for a non-toxic recommendation)
βœ“ Lip balm (my favourite is Hurraw)
βœ“ Nourishing body oil or moisturiser
βœ“ Postpartum hair support products - IR thinning defence serum & Rejuvenique oil. (DM for link)

If you're hiding your thinning hair, wearing it in a strategic way to cover the bald patches....
Maybe you've started wearing your hair up more often. Maybe you're avoiding photos.
Maybe you've noticed more hair in the shower, on your brush, or around the house and you're wondering if it's ever going to stop.

I've had countless women reach out to me over the years about postpartum hair thinning, stress-related shedding and perimenopausal hair changes.

And while everyone's journey is different, one thing I hear again and again is that it affects so much more than hair.

It affects confidence.

Even though I've always had plenty of hair, I noticed my shedding increasing during perimenopause. Since being consistent with my hair routine, including the hair thickening products, hair thinning defence serum and weekly oil treatments, my shedding is minimal compared to what it once was and my hair feels healthier than it has in years.

If you're struggling with thinning, postpartum shedding or hormonal hair changes, I have a personalised hair quiz that can help identify the best products for your specific concerns.

Comment HAIR or send me a message and I'll send it through. 🌸

Welcome June!

Today marks the beginning of a new week, a new month, and a new season.

Winter often encourages us to slow down, rest and reflect.

Just as nature appears quiet on the surface, so much growth is actually happening underneath.

As we step into this new season, may it be a reminder that fresh starts aren't just for January. We can choose a new beginning any day we wish.

Remember to embrace the season we're in.

*New week. * New month. * New season. * New opportunities.

What is one thing you're focusing on this June?

Whether it's fertility massage, pregnancy massage, postpartum recovery, lymphatic drainage, remedial massage, or just taking time out to rest and recharge, my goal is always the same:

To create a space where you feel supported and can totally relax, rest and reset.

These beautiful reviews remind me why I love what I do.

If you've been thinking about booking a treatment, I'd love to support you.

That fuzzy feeling in your head, not being able to think clearly, mental cloudiness, forgetting words mid sentence.....

It's more common that you think, many women experience brain fog during peri-menopause and also at other stages of life depending on what they're going through.

If you've been struggling and would like some support, send me a message.

Linda.

This is a beautiful healing self-care treatment that not only helps repair and heal but is also relaxing and makes you feel deeply connected to yourself.

There are many reasons to yoni steam, from fibroids, endometriosis, irregular cycles to blocked fallopian tubes or to tone and strengthen your reproductive system.

But today I'm ging you a list of a few herbs that can be used specifically for postpartum, fertility & menopause. (Please read the precautions below)

🌸 Fertility ~ Red clover, calendula, geranium, rose petals. (Only steam after your bleed up until ovulation when TTC)

🀱 Postpartum ~ Yarrow, calendula, motherwort, red raspberry. (When bleeding is finished)

πŸ’ƒ Menopause ~ Rose petals, rosemary, chamomile, motherwort. (Not while bleeding)

Precautions ~ Don't steam while menstruating, don't steam if there are any infections or open wounds, take out any piercings, don't steam while pregnant, don't steam if you have an IUD,

Yoni steaming is an ancient practice used across cultures for centuries, and it's making its way back for good reason.

Whether you're in your postpartum healing season, perimenopause, or on a fertility journey, this healing steam is exactly what you're needing.

🌸 It supports:
β†’ Postpartum uterine recovery
β†’ Hormonal balance in perimenopause
β†’ Improved circulation for fertility
β†’ Irregular or painful periods
β†’ Heavy bleeding & fibroids
β†’ Endometriosis & PCOS
β†’ Vaginal dryness
β†’ Pelvic floor health
β†’ Emotional & womb healing
And so much more....

Herbal blends matter. Not all herbs are created equal. Organic is important. DM me herbs and the season you’re in and I'll send you a list of herbs I'd recommend for you.

πŸ’› Always avoid steaming when:
β€’ You're pregnant
β€’ You have an active infection or open wound
β€’ Immediately after ovulation if TTC (post-O wait until period)
β€’ When you're bleeding.

Or unsure about it all, DM "yoni" and we'll set up a consultation to learn more about this and other healing practices for your specific season.
