I've been spring cleaning of late - but not just my home - my body as well.

As I was out pulling weeds in the garden, I was thinking about Spring and how nature has this beautiful way of reminding us to let go of what we no longer need.

The old stress, stagnation, all the things we've outgrown.

Spring is a season of renewal and new beginnings -
And our bodies have their own way of clearing and renewing too.

The lymphatic system helps move fluid around the body and plays an important role in cleansing our body and supporting immune system health.

A gentle lymphatic drainage massage can be a beautiful way to support this process, particularly if you're feeling puffy, stagnant or holding onto fluid.
Using light, gentle movements and essential oils, it's one of my favourite massages for this time of year. 🌿

Sometimes, before we can make space for new growth, we need to clear a few weeds. 🌱

Life has a way of keeping us busy.

We push through, carry stress in our shoulders, hold tension in our jaw, and tell ourselves we'll slow down next week.

But your body knows what it needs and will send you signals when it's out of balance and needs care.

Massage doesn't just relieve sore tight muscles, but gives your nervous system a chance to reset, your mind some time of quiet, and your body the break it's needing.

If it's been a while since you've truly relaxed, maybe this is your sign.

Mv weekly farmers market is one of the easiest ways I eat organic/spray free but also eat seasonally.

Our needs change throughout the year and this the reason why nature provides us a seasonal variety of nourishment in the form of fruit, vegetables and herbs.

There's a reason behind it all - it's not random

There is absolutely still a place for supplements (I take them too) but I don't think everything our bodies need come from a package.

Your body is always communicating.

The fatigue.
The brain fog.
The changes in your cycle.
The restless sleep.
The bloating.
The mood changes.
The hair thinning.
The feeling that you just don't feel like yourself anymore.

Your body isn't working against you.

It's asking for more support.

It's time to listen, because symptoms are information.

There was a time when women became the wise women of the community.
Menopause wasn't seen as something to fix but a transition that was honoured and supported.
Somewhere along the way, we began treating a natural life stage like a disease instead of supporting women through it.

Learn how to support your body naturally.

There was a time when women honoured every season of their lives.

Menstruation wasn't something to hide.
The postpartum period was protected.
Fertility was nurtured.
Menopause was recognised as a powerful transition, not the end of vitality, but the beginning of a new chapter.

Across many cultures, women developed traditions of caring for themselves through touch, herbs, rest, and community.

Womb massage is one practice that has been passed down in different forms, offering a gentle way to reconnect with the body, encourage balance, harmony, relaxation, awareness, and self-care.

Your womb is more than just an organ.
It represents creativity, intuition, transformation, and the transition of life's seasons.

Whether you're trying to conceive, recovering after birth, dealing with painful periods, moving through menopause, or wanting to feel more connected to yourself.....

Maybe it's time to remember what has always been within you.

If you're ready to begin, download my Womb Wellness Guide or book a Womb/fertility Massage.

So if the average age for women to start peri-menopause is 45 (of course there are variations to this) then why are there so many women in their 30's reporting to have peri symptoms already??

It's because other health and lifestyle conditions show up as the same symptoms, then women self diagnose those symptoms as peri-menopause (so do some unknowlegable health practitioners) when In reality they need to look at their lifestyle, health and nutrition status.

Reasons that will have you thinking you're in peri are thyroid issues, adrenal burnout, inflammation, inflamed nervous system, too much caffeine, low in iron, ferritin vitamin D and magnesium, not enough sleep, sluggish liver, dehydration, chronic stress, not eating regular healthy meals, and a lot more can be added to this list

My advice - if this is you - go get the right support now - because otherwise it will make peri-menopause alot more difficult than it has to be.

You weren't meant to just get through the day. You were meant to feel alive.

Somewhere along the way, we started believing that exhaustion, brain fog, bloating, aching joints, poor sleep, anxiety, or feeling flat are just part of life or getting older.

I've learned that the little things we do consistently, how we nourish ourselves, move our bodies, manage stress, our gut health, self-care, our thoughts and the words we speak over ourselves, can completely change how we experience life.

Just changing one choice at a time.

Because our lives shouldn't be about simply surviving.
It's about finding your energy again, feeling strong in your body, and remembering what it feels like to truly feel alive.

DM 'thrive' and lets do a whole life plan to set you up healing and stepping into health.

How you've lived your life previously catches up with you during menopause and everyone thinks these are just hormones or menopause symptoms.

But it's actually our bodies crying out for the right care.

Thriving through menopause is a 'whole life shift" not just a magic pill, suppressant or bandaid.

How you treat yourself through menopause will set you up for the rest of your life.

DM 'thrive' and lets plan your next 10-20-30 plus years for Thriving - not just surviving.

Most people think retail therapy means buying more clothes, bags, shoes....

Mine is a bit different. I absolutely love the smell, the vibe and energy of healthfood shops. For me it's about discovering foods, ingredients, drinks and herbal tea blends, that nourish instead of deplete.

What's your favourite place for retail therapy?
