Does anyone notice changes in your anxiety levels when u get tired or fatigued?

I have Chronic fatigue and find on the days when I'm most fatigued thst my anxiety levels can easily spike.

Generally I try to reschedule any stressful tasks for the next day and try to get plenty of rest.

The rest and refresh usually resets me back to what I would call normal programming.

Would love to hear your experiences in this area.

Pls don't ever feel ashamed of your anxiety.
Contrary to what many might think you are in fact a very strong person and here's 3 reasons why..

1. Anxiety is powerful and has the ability to keep you from doing so many things.
Yet you keep getting up each day facing your fears and pushing out into your world.

2. The resistance and internal struggles you face are far greater than those who have not suffered anxiety. You may have had to overcome so much just to live your life. BE PROUD.

3. It's possible you were born with this anxiety. It may have come through your Mum having a tough pregnancy or a difficult birth experience.
It might be from genetics passed down through generations either way you didn't choose it you didn't ask for it so NO SHAME NO GUILT.

Would love to hear peoples opinions on the role the Microbiome plays in anxiety.

For anyone who is not familiar with the microbiome it's another word for the billions of gut bacteria that inhabit our small and large intestine.

There's a lot of research now that links mental health with the health of our microbiome.

A few years ago I had a p**p test that identified good and bad gut bacteria and was horrified to find that I had an incredibly low number of good bacteria that are known to produce feel good chemicals in the brain such as serotonin and dopamine to name a couple.

No wonder I've had some pretty dark moments in my life my goodness.

Anyone else had these tests
Would love to hear your experiences I know it will benefit others who read them also.

"Piglet?" said Pooh.
"Yes?" said Piglet.
"I'm scared," said Pooh.
For a moment, there was silence.

"Would you like to talk about it?" asked Piglet, when Pooh didn't appear to be saying anything further.

"I'm just so scared," blurted out Pooh.

"So anxious. Because I don't feel like things are getting any better. If anything, I feel like they might be getting worse. People are angry, because they're so scared, and they're turning on one another, and there seems to be no clear plan out of here, and I worry about my friends and the people I love, and I wish SO much that I could give them all a hug, and oh, Piglet! I am so scared, and I cannot tell you how much I wish it wasn't so."

Piglet was thoughtful, as he looked out at the blue of the skies, peeping between the branches of the trees in the Hundred Acre Wood, and listened to his friend.

"I'm here," he said, simply. "I hear you, Pooh. And I'm here."
For a moment, Pooh was perplexed.

"But... aren't you going to tell me not to be so silly? That I should stop getting myself into a state and pull myself together? That it's hard for everyone right now?"

"No," said Piglet, quite decisively. "No, I am very much not going to do any of those things."

"But - " said Pooh.

"I can't change the world right now," continued Piglet. "And I am not going to patronize you with platitudes about how everything will be okay because I don't know that.

"What I can do, though, Pooh, is that I can make sure that you know that I am here. And that I will always be here, to listen; and to support you; and for you to know that you are heard.

"I can't make those Anxious Feelings go away, not really.

"But I can promise you that, all the time I have breath left in my body...you won't ever need to feel those Anxious Feelings alone."

And it was a strange thing, because even as Piglet said that, Pooh could feel some of those Anxious Feelings start to loosen their grip on him and could feel one or two of them start to slither away into the forest, cowed by his friend, who sat there stolidly next to him.

Pooh thought he had never been more grateful to have Piglet in his life!

Anxiety can be an extremely complex issue to deal with.

Many people around you will try to give simplistic advice as to how you should overcome this issue.

If your anything like me sometimes you just have to grit your teeth smile and walk away with the knowledge that most of these folks are well meaning but man they clearly have no idea what it's like to wake up every single day with this going on inside you with no way to escape from yourself.

Anyone had this experience with your friends and loved ones. I would love to hear some of your stories.

There is so much to learn about the origins and root causes of anxiety.
After a long bout of illness spanning a number of years I began to experience severe anxiety spanning long periods of day. I had never experienced anything quite this extreme.

I watched a number of YouTube videos searching for some answers and came across Fasting as a way of dealing with anxiety.

After only doing a 24 hr fast then following up with 14 to 16 hrs a day intermittent fasting for a few days I noticed a significant relief from the symptoms of the anxiety.

Would love to hear if others have found relief through using fasting or any other specific techniques thst may have helped you.

This is an absolute must watch it is one of the best explanations of whats happening in our bodies with anxiety or PTSD....
