Eat some greens. Kale is high in Vitamin K and Calcium making them great for building strong bones. This is especially important for kids, teens, during pregnancy, whilst breastfeeding, and women over 40 years. Special Note: considering bone health is really important if you have an overactive thyroid like those of you with Graves Disease due to rapid bone turnover. Naturopathic Appointments available at the end of June and August. We have heaps of Kale, Spinach and Asian Greens growing in our veggie garden. I’m going to chop the kale up finely and add to our chicken soup for dinner. Kids love it served with garlic sourdough and noodles. 🌱

Big News - I’m heading to England in July 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. My sister has lived overseas for over 10 years and the timing is finally right for me to head over. I’m taking my eldest with me so we can hang out with my gorgeous sister, and her family.

Whilst we are busy making lifelong memories, I will be taking a break from clinic from the 4th-29th July. All emails, voicemails and SMS inquiries will be unmonitored until I return.

Good news is that my automated booking system will remain open for you to make your appointments. All your supplements can still be ordered through the Vital.ly portal at anytime and delivered to your door. In the meantime there are still a few appointments left for the remainder of June for new and exisiting clients. I can also mix up your herbal medicine blends prior to July so you don’t run out while I’m away.

Thyroid Health: This week I’ve scheduled in some study breaks into the clinic calendar so I can work through the second module of my Thyroid Mastery Course. Refreshing my understanding of the root causes and triggers behind thyroid dysfunction. Every client always asks, but why me? Diving into family history, blood pathology, time lines, your environment, your age, stress, infections, immune function, hormonal health, gut health, occupation, liver health and sleep patterns can really help us understand the root causes behind your thyroid dysfunction. FYI it’s almost always a combination of the above that lead to an unhappy thyroid. Naturopathy appointments are still available towards the end of May.
