While concussion risk can never be completely removed from Australian Football, there are steps we can take to help reduce the likelihood of injury.
Training skillfully, following the rules, improving physical preparation, and teaching safe techniques all play an important role in making our game safer.
Together, we can help players develop the skills, confidence and awareness needed to participate as safely as possible.
