Dual plane technique involves positioning the implant partly beneath the chest muscle and partly beneath breast tissue, an approach selected based on each patient's individual anatomy and surgical goals. As with all breast augmentation cases, implant size and placement technique are determined on a case-by-case basis following a thorough consultation.

How Is Breast Implant Pricing Worked Out?

Breast implant cost isn't one flat number, it depends on technique, implant choice and aftercare. Dr Murray explains what goes into the price.

Pricing is largely based on surgical complexity and time. Above the muscle is quicker and more affordable. Sub-fascial placement takes longer and costs a little more. Dual-plane technique is the most involved option and sits at the higher end. Implant choice also affects price, with premium options like Motiva typically costing more than standard Polytech implants.

Structured aftercare, with reviews from day one through to four weeks, is also factored into the overall cost.
