There's a particular kind of tired that comes with living abroad. Not the jet-lag kind, and not the language-fatigue kind. The kind that lives underneath everything else.
You moved to your new city, maybe even Paris like me, for love, or for work, or for a life you're still building. From the outside it looks like you've landed. And inside, your gut tightens before anything hard, and you wake at 3am with a mind that won't quiet, and you keep circling the same ache in a relationship, or the same quiet doubt about yourself. You're capable and self-aware, and somehow still stuck.
Paris is beautiful, and it can also be lonely in a way that's hard to explain to people back home. And when you're far from your usual support, the old patterns tend to surface more loudly.
I'm Rebecca, a Masters-qualified psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist offering English-speaking therapy to women in Paris and internationally.
I work with anxiety, relationships, ADHD, and those in-between moments when something needs to shift and you're not sure where to begin. My approach blends psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and mind-body work, and it's warm, confidential, and shaped around you.
Sessions are online, in English.
There's a complimentary 30-minute Zoom call too, no pressure, just a conversation. The link to book is in my bio.
