SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED

Metung Area

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced support worker to provide support to a NDIS participant located in Metung.

Shift: Wednesdays 2-3 hours in the afternoon.

Support will include:
Assistance with personal care and daily living tasks.

Supporting and encouraging independence.

Providing respectful, professional and person centred support.

Support Worker requirements.

Current NDIS Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check
Relevant qualifications in individual support.
Reliable, professional.
Working through a NDIS registered provider.

A meet and greet will be arranged prior to commencement to ensure a suitable match for the participant and their support needs.

📣Did you know you may be eligible for extra financial assistance with continence products?

The Australian Government's Continence Aids Payment Scheme (CAPS) may provide eligible Australians with up to $739.40 per year to help with the cost of continence products. This payment is separate from Centrelink and is non-taxable.

✅ You may be eligible if you:
• Are 5 years or older
• Have permanent and severe incontinence
• Meet the scheme's eligibility requirements

⚠️ Important: If your NDIS plan already includes funding for continence products, you generally won't be eligible for CAPS. However, if your NDIS plan does not include continence funding, it's worth checking whether you qualify.

If you or someone you support could benefit from this assistance, it's worth taking a few minutes to check your eligibility.

I am currently seeking a reliable and experienced support worker to support a participant living with Parkinson’s disease in the Bairnsdale area, with services commencing in September.

The idea candidate will have:

Demonstrated experience supporting people living with Parkinson’s disease or other progressive neurological conditions.

Relevant qualifications in disability support,
Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing, or related field.

A person-centred approach and strong understanding of supporting independence, mobility, and daily living.

Current NDIS screening check, First Aid/CPR,
A current drivers licence and reliable transport.
