Enjoying a simple life away and diving more into the 'self'. One door closes, another opens. Guru told me to trust, so here I am, trusting and showing up for the Self.

Disciplining. Surrendering. Going deeper into the teachings. Into Self.

Have a wonderful weekend beautiful souls πŸ’›

One of the greatest illusions we experience in life is the belief that we are separate. We feel separate from ourselves, separate from others, and often separate from the Divine. We search for peace, love, belonging, and meaning outside of ourselves, believing that something is missing or that we have somehow lost our way.

Yet the truth is that we were never separate.

The Divine has never left us. Our true nature has never disappeared. What often creates the feeling of separation are the layers we accumulate throughout life; fear, conditioning, pain, disappointment, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are. Over time these layers can become so familiar that we mistake them for our identity.

The journey of healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about gently releasing what no longer serves us and remembering what has always been present beneath it all. As we begin to reconnect with ourselves, something beautiful unfolds. We feel more connected to life, more connected to others, and more connected to the Divine presence that has been quietly walking beside us all along.

Perhaps the spiritual path is not about searching for what is missing. Perhaps it is about remembering that nothing was ever truly lost.

Lakshmi

I love how wisdom comes through as a confirmation for the reachings I personally have given..

Yesterday's meditation we dealt with exactly this.. dealing with the unspoken anger, the suppression of the self, and letting go of what made us angry in the first place..

The scenarios..
The people...
Forgiving..
Then meeting the part that thought it was unlovable..
Weak..
Sad..

Thank you Amma for this beautiful message to remind us to keep sending love to those who make us angry, because like the old Buddhist saying.. 'Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other to die'.

✨ **Attachment and detachment are often misunderstood.**

Detachment doesn't mean you stop caring, stop loving, or become emotionally distant.

True detachment is the ability to love fully without needing to control the outcome.

Attachment often arises from fear:

* fear of loss
* fear of rejection
* fear of uncertainty
* fear of not getting what we want

When we become attached, our peace becomes dependent on people, circumstances, and outcomes behaving a certain way.

Detachment invites us into a different way of living.

A place where we can still love deeply, show up fully, and give our best, while trusting life enough to release our grip on how everything must unfold.

Sometimes the greatest freedom comes not from holding on tighter, but from learning to let go with trust.

πŸ’› Much love, Lakshmi

One of the hardest parts of healing is recognising that your body may still be emotionally living in a chapter your soul has already outgrown.

Psychologically, we often stay attached to old stories because the nervous system becomes familiar with them. Even painful dynamics can begin to feel emotionally β€œsafe” simply because they are known. The mind replays memories, conversations, regrets, hopes, and fantasies, trying to find resolution in something that has already ended energetically.

Spiritually, this creates a disconnection from the present moment.

Part of you remains emotionally tied to who you were, what you lost, or what you hoped someone else would become. And while your mind is living there, your energy cannot fully root itself in the life unfolding in front of you now.

Healing is not about pretending the chapter never mattered.
It is about gently releasing your emotional residence from the past and returning home to yourself.

To your body.
To your peace.
To your present life.
To the version of you that still deserves love, softness, joy, and new beginnings.

There comes a moment where healing asks:
β€œHow much longer are you going to keep abandoning yourself trying to emotionally relive something that is already over?”

And sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is stop looking backward and finally choose yourself again. ✨
