Today we recognise World MS Day 🌍

World MS Day is a time to raise awareness about multiple sclerosis (MS), a neurological condition that affects the central nervous system and impacts millions of people worldwide. MS can affect movement, sensation, vision, and overall wellbeing, and each person’s experience is unique.

In disability support, understanding MS means recognising both the visible and invisible challenges people may face — from fatigue and mobility changes to cognitive impacts. It’s about providing flexible, person-centred support that respects independence, dignity, and individual goals.

Today is an opportunity to listen, learn, and stand in support of those living with MS, their families, and the wider community.
