The greatest gift Ive given to this marriage (25 together) was learning how to love myself.
And boy oh boy it’s been clunky.
The more I spent time loving my shameful parts. The parts that feel unworthy of love.
The more i grew a large container of love. Cos if i can love my shadow, well wow, the light can enter in and all of a sudden the love I can hold is limitless.

I stopped projecting onto him. I stopped needing him to be different. I stopped keeping the store. I Stopped gatekeeping my love.

The more I loved all of me. The more I’ve been able to love all of him. Turns out self love actually brings you closer. 💗

I think how we parent in isolation now and not in community, has put so much pressure on us that we have confused self sacrifice with love.

We have been sold = The more we give, the more loved our children will feel. 😩

Self abandonment is not love and by golly gosh your child will feel this in you. Even if you paint a smiley mask on.

What children need most is for their mother to be okay. So she is a safe and present place to come to.

A mother who has her own life. Creates her own joy. Is expressive and creatively herself in all she does.

When mum is chill AF the whole family can be ok. Then there is also space for their emotions to be seen and witnessed.

Then they get to be free to be a child. Live their own life. Make their own mistakes. And know forever and a day you will be there for them when they need to come home and fill them up with delight once more.

Be well mumma so your children can be free from you. 💗💗

Im not interested in making women more motivated or productive.

Or even how to cope with a life that is already asking too much.

Im here to help women be so relaxed and nurtured and full on their own love supply doing this through being fully themselves.

We are breaking the conditioning of being stressed, self sacrificing and exhausted means you’re a good mum. 🤮

The worst and ugliest lie of all - that putting yourself first is selfish 🤮🤮🤮

In my corner of the interwebs we are learning that a regulated mum changes a family.
A woman who knows how to receive is harder to manipulate and has easeful boundaries.
Women who follow their joy make more empowered decisions.
Women who know themselves are unstoppable.

And a mumma who puts herself first, creates a ripple effect that touches everyone around her.

Thats what the ME FIRST Method is about.

Join the rebellion mumma.
