I was fired twice in my career.
Both times for the same reason.
I was getting results too fast.
My clients were pain free and telling everyone. The clinic lost the rebooking revenue. I became a liability.
That experience taught me something the entire pain industry is built around hiding.
The system is not designed to get you better. It is designed to get you back next week.
Here is the most important thing I know after 40 years in this field.
Your disc did not bulge randomly. Your nerve did not get irritated for no reason. Something was squeezing it — from the front — for months, possibly years, before you ever sneezed.
Hold a hamburger level. Squeeze the front. The filling bursts out the back. Every time. Without exception.
That is your posterior disc bulge. The filling came out the back because something was squeezing the front. And nobody in the consulting room ever looked at the front.
They treated the filling. Charged you for it. Rebooked you when it came back.
I built an entire programme around the question nobody was asking.

Your MRI shows what’s there. It doesn’t show why it’s there.
A bulging disc. Degeneration. Arthritis. These are names. They tell you the location of the problem. They don’t tell you why the pressure built up in the first place.
That’s the question nobody asks. And it’s the reason the pain keeps coming back.
The scan is a postcode. Not an explanation.

He had the scan result folded in his wallet. He'd been carrying it for two years.
He didn't have a diagnosis. He had a postcode.
A postcode tells you where something is. It says nothing about what's causing it, why it's there, or what to do about the cause.
The disc bulge didn't appear randomly. Something was pressing on the front of the vertebrae — forcing the disc backwards.
Treating the bulge without asking what created the pressure is like filling the dent in a wall without asking what's hitting it.
Once a person understands the real anatomy of their back pain — not the name on the scan, but the chain of events that produced it — they are in a completely different position.

But the sneeze wasn’t the real injury.
