🎨 What a night on the rooftop! 🎉

Leanna hosted her very own Bingo & Art Display night in the common rooftop area of her building — the SDA home where she lives independently. 💜

Neighbours popped up to say hello and admire Leanna's art and crafts on display, we played round after round of Dog Bingo (even Daisy the dog was all in 🐶), and shared dinner up top — turning a rainy night stuck indoors into something pretty special. 🌧️

That's independent living, the 4u Care way: Leanna in her own home, doing her own thing and bringing people together, with her support team right beside her.

Because leading an ordinary life should never take an extraordinary effort. That's how we challenge 'normal'. 💙

🏐 Throwback to the HART State Titles! 🏆💪

We're incredibly proud of the Maitland Netball All Abilities Team for taking out the win! 👏

For the past two years, 4u Care has proudly sponsored these amazing athletes through Maitland Netball Association.

Since then, the achievements have kept coming:
🥇 Mia represented NSW in the Ivor Burge Women's Basketball Team and brought home gold at the National Championships.

⭐ Mia and Sophie have also been selected in the NSW Marie Little Shield Team, with Sophie named as a Training Partner.

A girls day was on the cards for Andie and Hayley so their support workers helped make it happen!

A bit of a wander, some games and good food, and the kind of easy company that comes from an easy friendship.

Andie and Hayley live in two different 4u Care homes but you'd never guess it from how these two get on!

Living somewhere with support around you shouldn't mean your social life takes a back seat.

Last week the team knocked over their First Aid and CPR refresher, which is honestly the bare minimum we'd expect of ourselves. We have a registered nurse in house who trains our teams before they head out on support.

So when a support worker joins your week, they're not just turning up with a good attitude and the best of intentions. They've been properly shown the ropes by someone who actually knows her stuff, which means you get to ease off a little and enjoy the good bits.
