New rotation means road safety briefing! 🚦

At the beginning of every new program rotation, we take the time to revisit road safety with our participants to help keep everyone safe and confident while out and about in the community.

A few weeks ago, Alisha led our latest road safety session, covering topics such as safely crossing roads, using pedestrian crossings, staying aware of traffic, and making smart choices when travelling in the community.

These regular refreshers are an important part of our programs and help support independence, confidence, and community participation! 🤝🏼

We are thrilled to highlight a new partnership with Clear Sky Australia. Over a ten-week program, our teaching artists Nel and Barney are working with ten disabled adults to spark new creative connections, make bold creative choices, and learn the foundations of theatre making as a new ensemble. We had the best time getting to know one another during week 1, playing, making shapes, and throwing quick characters together. We can't wait to see what magic we continue to create. Thanks for such a warm welcome, Clear Sky! 💖

Our Food of the World crew had the most beautiful day exploring the incredible wandering through rows of vibrant produce, smelling native herbs and learning where some of Australia’s top restaurants source their ingredients 🌿🍇🌼

A big thank you to Dylan for the personal tour and for sharing your passion with us. From microgreens to the most incredible colours we’ve ever seen, this excursion was one to remember 💚
