Change is a natural part of life, and while it can feel uncomfortable or scary at times, we grow by giving it a go and learning to move with it instead of fighting it or waiting for the perfect moment. Start simple…when something triggers you or feels uncomfortable, notice how you feel and don’t be too hard on yourself. Take small steps like trying something new, changing a habit, or looking at things a bit differently. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just keep going. Over time, this builds confidence and helps you trust yourself more. Change isn’t there to stop you, it’s there to help you grow stronger every day. People often fear change because it brings uncertainty, but support from friends, family, or a counsellor can make it easier. Here are 5 simple things you can do to help yourself handle change:

• Take small steps, you don’t have to do everything at once
• Talk to someone you trust about how you’re feeling
• Keep a simple routine to stay grounded
• Try to stay open-minded and look for the good in the change
• Be kind to yourself, it’s okay to take time to adjust
