An evening to honour the longest night.

Winter is asking us to slow down and we're creating the space to do exactly that. 🕯️

Join Rach and Claire at Island Healing for a deeply restorative evening of Yin Yoga and Sound Immersion, held in honour of the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, and a powerful moment to pause, reflect, and let go.

Here's what the evening holds for you:

🧘‍♀️ Yin Yoga — long, slow holds that melt tension from the body and invite genuine stillness

🎶 An immersive sound experience with crystal singing bowls taking you on a journey within

🕯️ A candlelit sanctuary that is cosy, warm, and completely held

🌱 Intention setting to release what no longer serves and welcome in the returning light

Not a yoga person? No worries at all! you're warmly welcome to join us for the sound immersion only.

There's a thing that happens when you walk through our doors here at Island Healing.

The shoulders drop. The breath deepens. Something in you remembers how to slow down.

And we hear it all the time from our visitors… "There’s something about this place, I just feel so calm here... so peaceful."

That’s not an accident.

This space is tended to. Daily. Deliberately. And on levels that go beyond what the eye can see. Everything here is chosen with intention - not for aesthetics alone, but because we believe the environment you heal or receive in matters. The textures, the lights, the stillness and the energy in the room. It all does something before the work even begins.

Introducing our new feature wall, Blue Diamond by local artist Alisoun Neville co-founder of Living Space, captures the living water of Ventnor Beach, magnified into something that feels sacred.

An evening to honour the turning of the season.

On Saturday 21st June, the Winter Solstice and International Yoga Day fall on the same day — the longest night of the year, and a global moment to pause on the mat.

There's wisdom in the way the earth slows down at this time of year. The trees rest. The light softens. The pace eases. We're invited to do the same, if we choose to listen.

Join us at Island Healing for an evening of Yin Yoga intertwined with Sound. Long-held postures woven through with the resonance of crystal singing bowls attuned to the 7 chakras. Movement and sound, held together, gently guiding the body into stillness.

Not into Yin? You're welcome to come along for the sound immersion portion only. This evening is about your rest, on your terms.

A candlelit studio. The hush of winter outside. A small circle of people choosing stillness over busyness.

That's the whole offering.
