We get it - Australia's new home care system has been a steep (and sometimes frustrating) learning curve for everyone.

So we stepped in front of the camera to explain it in simple terms.

We've created this particular video as a resource for GP clinics, allied health staff and community organisations - they're the ones older people trust with their health questions, and are best placed to answer them.

But anyone wanting to know the basics will benefit👍

Teamwork makes the dream work 🙌🏻

Cracking couple of days of conversations and learning at our Envigor staff workshops last week.

It’s been a huge six months since the Support at Home program changed the home care system, so it’s been amazing to hear experiences and insights from the front lines.

We’ve laughed. We’ve cried. We’ve helped people navigate their care through a huge change. What a six months it has been.

Lovely to see everyone, share some thoughts and food, and hear from the teams.

So a month or so ago we entered a float in the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Festival’s grand parade - and we won our category!!

We thought what better way to use that 250 bucks than to donate it back to a local community group, and match it dollar for dollar.

Last week we delivered a big novelty cheque (and the real donation, of course) to the Stanthorpe & District Men’s Shed to help them buy a new saw that the fellas have wanted for ages.

And we even stuck around and had a chat to the guys about what on earth the Australian home care system is all about.

A huge thanks to Ron at Stanthorpe Men’s Shed for having us, we had a cracking morning 🙏🏻

Winner winner chicken dinner! 🏆

Our excellent Darling Downs team spent the day at Allora Pharmacy yesterday answering home care questions and, of course, hosting our annual Mother's Day Hamper giveaway.

A huge congrats to Phyllis Shooter for taking home the goods!

🚿 High chance of showers every day? That's what we're talking about.

We're stoked the federal government has announced that showering and personal care will be a fully funded clinical service for older Australians in the Support at Home program from October.

We're not a weather service here at Envigor, but it's a prediction we're glad came true.
