We now have a remedial massage therapist on our team. And he is terrific.
We know that massage and osteopathy work really well together. And having a massage therapist in- house means that we can share your care.

Introducing John - Remedial Massage Therapist who has recently joined our growing team of allied health providers.

John is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and the founder of ProActive Muscle Maintenance.

He has a strong interest in sports massage and specialises in relieving muscle tension and soreness through a combination of deep tissue, remedial, and trigger point techniques.

His approach blends clear communication, clinical reasoning, and evidence‑based treatment, with a focus on empowering clients to understand their bodies and build long‑term confidence in their movement.

Not in the clinic this week due to attending the inaugural Asia Pacific Osteopathic Summit. A most wonderful event boasting many legends of osteopathy as speakers, some with 5 decades of experience. Also a marvellous occasion to reunite with university friends. And as always Tasmania was represented with a large group of us attending. Now to put some of the learning into action!

Online bookings are pushed out about 6-8 weeks ahead for New Patients, but I do keep some in reserve each week for babies and children who really cannot wait!

Please note that I do not accept any adult New Patients unfortunately at this time.

Consultation fees will increase in February 2026 to better reflect the amount of time spent for the varying different appointment types.

I currently offer a 30 minute, and a 45 minute return appointment option and these will alter to be a little more consistent.

Return Patient 30 mins $100 ( increase of only $1 😊)
Return Patient 45 mins $130 ( increase of $10)

New Patient appointments are 60 minutes and will now be $160.

As usual, pensioner and senior discounts will apply.
Private Health rebates and Medicare EPC rebates will also be available to eligible patients.

Thank you for your understanding as I try to make appointments a little more equitable.

I will be back to the clinic on Monday 5th of January ready for the New Year.

A couple of changes to my schedule which will take full effect from mid February :

My work days this year are:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

One Friday a month will be unavailable and I will consult on Thursday instead, on those weeks.

Appointment times begin at 8.45 am.

- there may be a bit of shuffling about until we get into the swing of the new roster, so thanks for your patience.
