Childosophy Means 'child's wisdom' : A philosophy of wellbeing for children and our inner-child. A knowing that when we understand children, we understand life.

Assisting your child to be the best they can be...

All children are balanced and harmoniously whole but life's situations & circumstances can tip our children off balance or fragment their wholeness. Childosophy

is an amazing approach that assists adults and children to identify why and when they have become imbalanced and help them to return to their natural harmony. Offering children and caregivers of children access to an enhanced way of interpreting their feelings, thoughts and actions and understand why they have needed to act in certain ways. Dr Maxine Therese teaches others to use the system and trains candidates to be certified as Childosophy Children's Wellbeing practitioners. Contact Maxine at www.childosophy.com

Some children feel the room before they enter it, see connections no one else catches, move through the world in ways that read as chaos until you look closer and find a language underneath. These aren’t problems, they’re capacities. And Childosophy is built on the belief that every child arrives complete.

So much of the pressure we place on our children has nothing to do with them. It comes from the dreams we quietly buried, the parts of ourselves we were told not to want, the life we half-lived or never started.

Noticing that isn’t something to feel guilty about. Instead, it may just be the most freeing thing a parent can do. When you begin to want things for yourself again, you stop needing your child to want them for you.

One of the most profound gifts we can give our children is doing our own inner work. Not perfectly - just honestly. What part of yourself are you ready to reclaim?

Education is most powerful when it starts with the child, not the curriculum. What does your child light up about? That’s the thread worth following.

Parenting has a way of surfacing everything we haven’t yet resolved within ourselves.

This is not a flaw in the process - it is the process.

Children don’t trigger us randomly. They find the places in us that are still waiting to be tended and they ask, in the only way they know how, for us to pay attention.

Childosophy holds that the relationship between parent and child is not just relational, it is transformational for both. When we are brave enough to look at what our children bring up in us, we don’t just begin to heal ourselves, we change what we pass on.

Children are some of the most sophisticated emotional sensors on the planet.

Not because they are fragile, but because they are wired from the very beginning to attune to the people who care for them. This is a survival mechanism but it is also something more than that, it is the beginning of a bond that runs deeper than words.

When we dismiss what children pick up on by saying “You’re imagining things” or “That isn’t right” we ask them to distrust their own perception, their own body and their own knowing.

Childosophy asks us to go the other way, to take seriously what children sense and to honour the intelligence of their attunement.

And to respond not with dismissal but with honesty.

💬 Save this for a day when your child knows something before you’ve said it.
