Recently, Dr Mark Robinson welcomed two newly qualified consultant orthopaedic surgeons — Dr Jonathon Davies and Dr Gareth Davies — into theatre on separate occasions to observe and share surgical techniques.

Surgical skill isn't just built through training — it's sharpened through mentorship, long after the qualifications are earned. For newly qualified consultants, time spent alongside an experienced surgeon can shape the way they operate for the rest of their career.

This is what keeps the profession strong: senior surgeons opening their theatre to the next generation.

One year ago today, we opened our doors at Suite 4, Noosa Central, 6 Bottlebrush Ave — and what a year it's been.

Since then, we've grown to include our dedicated fracture clinic, physiotherapy, and host onsite hand therapy — all under one roof. Thank you to every patient who trusted us with their care, and to the GPs, allied health partners, and local businesses who've supported us along the way.

Here's to year two 🥂
