Ros marinus, dew of the sea. That is rosemary's Latin name.

Two thousand years ago the Roman farmer Columella told beekeepers to plant it near their hives. In England in the 1500s and 1600s, brides wore it in their wreaths. And in 1857 a London perfumer wrote that Eau de Cologne could not be made without it.

Ours is organic, grown and bottled in Australia.

Tea tree grows wild on swampy river flats in northern New South Wales and south-east Queensland.

In the 1920s it was cut by hand from wild stands and often distilled on the spot, in wood-fired bush stills. The plantations came in the 1970s and 80s, most of them around Lismore.

It smells strong and herby, with a sharp edge. Ours is grown and bottled in Australia.
