A fantastic two days at our Lower Limb MSK Ultrasound & Injection Masterclass in Noosa.
A huge thank you to Dr Ramona Chryssidis and James Ferrie for sharing their knowledge, experience and practical expertise throughout the masterclass.
The focus was very much on hands-on learning, ultrasound-guided technique and translating advanced injection skills into real clinical practice.
A major part of the two days was working through live patient cases, including:
🦵Perineural hydrodissection of the medial calcaneal nerve
🦵Plantar heel pain — nerve blocks, intrafascial regenerative injection, Baxter’s nerve and perifascial hydrodissection
🦵Plantar plate and MTP joint regenerative injections
🦵Achilles enthesopathy regenerative injection
🦵Midfoot osteoarthritis and tibialis anterior enthesopathic injections
🦵Knee osteoarthritis — perineural, intra-articular and peri-articular regenerative injections, including the pes anserinus region
🦵Lateral ankle pathology — ATFL, CFL, ankle and posterior subtalar joint regenerative injections, superficial peroneal perineural injections and sinus tarsi treatment.
What made the masterclass particularly valuable was the opportunity to move beyond isolated injection techniques and look at each patient as a clinical problem to solve — integrating assessment, sonoanatomy, diagnostic ultrasound, procedural planning and ultrasound-guided treatment.
