✨ Learning, teaching, and bringing the best back home ✨
Dr Kate Martin and Dr Vesh Pillay have just returned from the AGES Annual Scientific Meeting in Auckland — one of the leading gynaecology meetings in Australia & New Zealand 🇳🇿
For our patients, this means something simple: your doctors are constantly learning and working to improve the care you receive.
Kate attended not only as a surgeon, but as an AGES Board Member and training supervisor. A particularly special moment was seeing Vesh graduate from the AGES Advanced Training Program after years of dedicated surgical training — a real full-circle moment 💙
Even more exciting — Vesh was awarded 🏆 Best Video Presentation for presenting Kate’s surgical technique, “Carboprost Enhanced Hysteroscopic Myomectomy” — a reflection of the innovation and teamwork happening behind the scenes.
Kate was also proud to help lead the rollout of the AGES Surgical Coaching Program alongside keynote speaker Cara King — an initiative designed to support and elevate surgeons at every stage of their careers.
We’re proud to be part of a community that values continual learning, collaboration, and better outcomes for patients — and to bring that experience back here to O&G.

Happy IWD! Each year there is a slogan that determines the theme for this day. To us, international women’s day is a time to look around at the incredible women we have chosen to surround ourselves with. At O&G we are a true team, with each woman respecting the skills of all others. You also spot a man in there who has championed each of us from the beginning, and often ends meetings with “whatever you girls decide”! We are so proud of what we have created; women working together, to improve the lives of the women we care for.
