When we go through stressful or traumatic experiences, whether they are emotional or physical, our body and mind don’t always let them go just because time has passed.
Even if we think we’ve moved on or stopped thinking about what happened, our nervous system can still hold onto the memory of that stress.
It’s a bit like our body keeping a record of the experience.
Later on, when we face a similar situation, our body can react as though the original event is happening all over again.
We may feel anxious, overwhelmed, fearful, emotional, or physically uncomfortable without fully understanding why.
For example, someone who has been involved in a serious car accident may still feel distressed years later.
Simply hearing screeching tyres, smelling petrol, seeing a similar accident, or even thinking about what happened can trigger the same feelings of fear, panic, helplessness, or tension they experienced at the time.
Over time, these unresolved stress patterns can build up and affect our emotional wellbeing, relationships, confidence, health, and ability to cope with everyday life.
We think we have delt with the trauma, but unless it has been released from the body, the emotional imprint still remains.
Kinesiology helps identify and release these stored stress patterns within the body, allowing the nervous system to feel safer, calmer, and more balanced.
As the stress is cleared, people often find they can respond to life in a healthier way rather than reacting from old emotional wounds or past experiences.
It’s time to release what you no longer need to carry 🙏♥️
