Week 2 of Book Week saw lots more visitors. There was pirate treasure to win and our Book Fair books were disappearing - yah! We hope everyone had a fun 2 weeks! Can't wait for next year.

Here is a snap shot of some of the Characters who visited us in Week 1 of Book Week! We had so much fun going on Pirate Treasure Hunts, helping Bluey pack for her Adventure and visiting Paddington in Peru. Looking forward to Week 2!

𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗩𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀!

Did you know that the QLD Government also provide SwimStart vouchers? These are $150 vouchers for children age 0-4 years old, which can be used towards the cost of swimming lessons with a registered SwimStart activity provider.

SwimStart provides $150 vouchers for eligible zero to 4 year olds to participate in registered learn to swim programs.

Applications for the Queensland Government $200 PlayOn! Sports Vouchers opened today.
The Play On! Sports Vouchers program is designed to help more young people get involved in organised physical activity. By reducing the cost of participation, Play On! Sports Vouchers make it easier for families to support their children in joining local clubs, trying new sports, and staying active in their communities.

Thanks to Motion Specialties Queensland for coming out to talk to our team today. It's always great to get to know our local equipment reps and keep our knowledge up to date on what's out there, so we can do the best for the children and families we see.

Last week we said good-bye to our amazing Speech Pathologist Chloe, as she departs to The States for an overseas adventure. Chloe has been with us since she graduated and we have loved watching her grow into the experienced therapist she has become. We know there will be some incredibly lucky children and families in Boston who will get to have Chloe as their Speechie. We wish you all the best on your adventures Chloe and hope to see you back at The Hub one day in the future.
