This Invisible Disabilities Week (October 18–25), we are challenging that misconception. A disability isn't always something you can see, like a wheelchair or a cane. It can be chronic pain, extreme fatigue, neurodiversity, mental health conditions, or sensory processing disorders.
Roughly 80% to 90% of all disabilities are invisible, meaning someone next to you right now might be fighting a battle you know nothing about. Let's practice empathy, offer flexibility, and stop judging someone's health by their appearance. 💜
👉 How can you support? Look out for the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard, advocate for accessible spaces, and listen without judgment.
