Our Ayurvedic Online workshop during the week with Anna from Soulful Ayurveda was the perfect blend of getting our nerd on, practical and inspiring wisdom to invite change and a great community vibe.

The latest gift from Mother earth in my garden — a juicy, sweet pineapple. 🍍

In the humid wet season, our digestive fire (Agni) can become weaker due to the heaviness and dampness in the environment. Pineapple’s naturally sweet and sour tastes and digestive enzymes help stimulate digestion, reduce excess dampness, and provide helpful hydration for the body.

Eating local, seasonal, whole foods gives the body the precise nutrients it needs as the seasons shift, helping to support healthy digestion and gut balance. When we work with nature in this way, the body can do what it is designed to do — and we are rewarded with vitality and health. 💚🌿

I recently had the honour of speaking at a conference for women in the mining industry. It was super special to share some tips on wellness with these lovely ladies.

Health is not just about the body. Our thoughts, emotions, consciousness, and subtle inner energies all play a powerful role in how we feel each day. We are in a constant exchange with our external environment — through the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the experiences and energies we take in.

As we get older hormones shift and the nervous system needs more nourishment, so tuning into what’s happening within our body–mind complex can bring profound balance and peace.

The guided meditation we shared at the end of the session was a beautiful reminder that taking time to cultivate inner peace is powerful medicine.

A beautiful morning for yoga at the harbour beach this morning! 🌟🌟 Thanks Julieanne from Neighbourhood Yoga for the opportunity to cover your class it was an absolutely stunning morning! 💛 Perfect way to start the day. 🌟😊 This class is offered free to the community every Sunday 7:30am (earlier in summer). Follow it with an ocean swim or a beach walk and you will be feeling on top of the world. 🙌🌟

A heartfelt goodbye to my dear friend and Ayurvedic soul sister, Marg from Marigold Ayurveda. 🌼

Marg has offered an incredible service to our community, touching many lives with the healing wisdom of Ayurveda. Marg is heading down south to begin a new chapter. You will be greatly missed — not just as a practitioner, but as a beautiful presence and colleague. I'm especially grateful for all the treatment swaps we've shared over the years — a rare gift in a town with so few Ayurvedic practitioners!

I'm also honoured to carry forward a little piece of Marg’s practice — her stunning traditional wooden dhroni table, carved from medicinal mango wood. It’s truly a work of art, and I look forward to offering many healing therapies on it in the years ahead.

Wishing you all the very best, Marg, on your new journey. May you continue to be blessed with the guiding light of Ayurveda wherever you go. 🌿💛
