It is our pleasure to introduce Dr Kamrun Naher, who has recently joined Worrigee Street Medical Centre as a GP Registrar.
Dr Naher completed her MBBS from a renowned government university in Bangladesh, followed by a one-year internship. She then worked for 10 years in Bangladesh across Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and five years in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Since moving to Australia, she has worked in the hospital system, including Liverpool Hospital and Bankstown Hospital, with three years’ experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has also worked in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, and Paediatrics.
Having recently relocated to Nowra, Kamrun is looking forward to becoming part of the local community and building long-term relationships with her patients in general practice.
She is currently welcoming new patients and is happy to bulk bill all patients with a Medicare card for the majority of the services she provides.
She has a special interest in Women’s Health, Child Health, Sexual Health, Chronic Disease Management, and Aged Care.
