One of the best ways to make memories is to go out and experience what the world has to offer! That's exactly what we help our participants to do every day that we support them.

Last Wednesday, our participant Blake celebrated his 40th birthday at the beautiful Jackadder Lake alongside our staff and the great team of Cycling Without Age - Australia (Perth Chapter). A fun day of cycling and fresh air culminated in sweet treats and memories that can a lifetime.

Forming partnerships with other community organisations is a huge part of what we do to give our participants the best and most individualised supports possible. Together, we can really make a different in their lives and the lives their families.

It was fantastic to attend the WA Disability Support Awards. Thank you so much to for hosting a wonderful night of recognition and camaraderie for our sector.

Meet Jo Stewert – Executive Officer (& Secretary for the Foundation).

Behind the scenes of everything we do, you’ll find Jo.

As Executive Officer, Jo plays a vital role in ensuring the Group’s operations run smoothly each and every day. From coordinating logistics when new participants move into a home (or transition between homes), to organising maintenance and overseeing equipment relocations , Jo is across it all.

She also helps manage our homes in a practical, hands-on way, making sure each space is properly set up with the right furniture, materials and resources to support our participants.

It’s the work that often goes unseen but it makes a world of difference.

2Flourish – Doubletree House Vacancy (Hilton)

2Flourish currently has a SIL vacancy available at Doubletree House in Hilton, Western Australia.

This shared living opportunity is funded under NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) at a 1:3 staffing ratio.

We are currently seeking:

• Male participant
• SIL funding at 1:3 ratio
• Smoking permitted on site
• Compatibility with existing household dynamics

Doubletree House offers a welcoming, social environment. The home currently features a pool table and air hockey table — one of the residents is a talented pool player and would enjoy having someone new to play alongside.

The property is conveniently located in the popular suburb of Hilton, with nearby shops, IGA and local cafés just a 10-minute walk (or 3-minute drive) away. Our team regularly supports residents to explore the local community where appropriate.

As with all shared living arrangements, careful matching is essential to ensure a positive and sustainable placement for everyone in the home.

What a wonderful evening and we are all truly humbled by winning start up of the year at 2025 WA Business Awards held in the Grand Ballroom Crown Perth.
