Sarah Najjar, Reiki Master Teacher & Practitioner has been practising Reiki since 2002 and teaching since 2009.

She is also trained in Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies and Remedial Massage. She brings elements of this training to your Reiki treatments and Reiki training so you have an optimum opportunity to heal. Reiki courses take place regularly in Melbourne. Treatments are available throughout the week. Zoom Reiki practice groups take place on the last Wednesday of each month

A big thank you to the bright and happy students who completed Reiki Level One in July.

Reiki Level One is taking place again on September 12 & 13.

Reiki Level One is the foundational training in your Reiki journey. The focus is on learning how to practice Reiki on yourself.

When you practice Reiki regularly, your nervous system is regulated, so you can feel better physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

During this training, you will:

Spring has just begun here in Melbourne. It's my favourite season.

Spring brings opportunities for renewal. Around us, new leaves appear, flowers bloom, and days grow longer and warmer.

Spring reminds us that we are constantly adapting and changing. Our brains can change in response to our experiences and behaviours. This is known as neuroplasticity, and it reminds us that we are not static.

Our wellbeing can change too. Stress, illness, recovery and significant life changes can affect how we feel and function. Just as renewal in nature happens gradually, we can improve our wellbeing through the small things we do consistently over time.

So, during spring, how do you intend to feel better? This season I'm intending to:

🌸 Eat lunch outside when possible
🌸 Read a book before sleep
🌸 Stretch every day

Reiki treatments and self-Reiki practice support and improve your wellbeing, especially during times of stress, illness, change and burnout.

Q: “Can I learn Reiki? I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it.”

I often hear this from people considering learning Reiki.

A: The answer is yes. Anyone can learn Reiki.

Since 2009, I've taught Reiki to people from different backgrounds, ages, professions and walks of life.

You don't need to be “spiritual” or have any special ability.

On the first day of Reiki Level One, you receive guidance and opportunities to practise on yourself and others. With regular practice, you'll develop confidence in yourself and your Reiki practice.

You already have an innate ability to rebalance and restore.

Learning Reiki gives you a practical way to connect deeply with yourself so holistic healing can begin.

Join our free monthly online Reiki practice group this Wednesday at 7:30pm AEST.

Open to anyone who has learnt Reiki, or is curious about self-Reiki practice.

The primary focus of Reiki Level One is learning how to practice Reiki on yourself. When you practice Reiki on yourself your system rebalances and you begin to heal.

Are you rushing from one task to the next?

Before you know it, you could have worked through lunch, sat for hours, or reached the end of the day without taking a pause.

Fortunately, small mindful actions throughout the day can support your nervous system. Here are some ways to get you started:

🌸 Take your lunch break away from your desk and notice what's around you.

🌸 Stand and stretch for a few minutes between tasks.

🌸 Pause, breathe, and notice a sound around you.

These simple actions bring you into the present moment and support a more balanced nervous system.

Like any practice, consistency matters. It's the things we do regularly that can have the greatest impact on our health and wellbeing.

Over time, these small moments of self-care can become the foundation for greater balance and wellbeing.

Tomorrow is National Relaxation Day. National Relaxation Day was established to encourage you to slow down and unwind. What do you do to relax? How can you incorporate relaxing activities into your week? Watching comedy, spending time with friends and walking along local walking tracks are three of my favourite ways to unwind.

Although practising and receiving Reiki relaxes your central nervous system, Reiki is more than relaxation. Reiki is healing.
