Being your healthiest is never a linear/straightforward journey. Life just isn’t reliable and your motivation won’t always be there either.

The people who make the most progress aren’t often the ‘best’ at everything. But they are the ones who keep showing up regardless of whether they are motivated or not.

One workout won’t make a difference but hundreds of them over time will 🙏

Health is meant to be simple, attainable (for ALL people) and sustainable.

Health isn’t something that leaves you second guessing every choice you make.

PS around 90% of adults aren’t consuming enough fibre 👩🏻‍💻 So think of introducing some legumes, whole grains and extra veggies into your diet (and don’t automatically peel every fruit or veg).

How are you measuring your health or progress? 🙇‍♀️

Often, when we focus too much on one specific goal, we lose sight of so many other improvements in our life and health!

🤔What could go wrong?

👉Well, when we don’t hit our specific goal, we are so hard on ourselves and completely dismiss all the good things that have come from all our efforts! This is when we are likely to give up and say ‘screw it, this isn’t working anyway’.

So, instead of fixating on one goal (changing our body shape, losing weight, gaining weight, hitting our calorie/macro targets), try to focus on the smaller differences in your day to day life. This is where the good stuff is! 🙌

At the end of the day, shifting this focus will keep you consistent on your path to achieving your ‘main goal’ anyway 💚

I say it all the time but I still can’t say it enough.

🌿Variety is key
🌿 The root cause of most health issues will always be diet and lifestyle (not your weight)
🌿 Your diet will be missing something (removing foods won’t automatically fix that)

Your diet doesn’t need to be perfect, and it definitely doesn’t need to include every ‘super food’.

It just needs to be balanced, varied and consistent ☑️

Dreaming of a job where people are happy to see me instead of happy to leave me 💭

Jokes aside, my job really is to encourage you to do the exercises you won’t happily do by yourself 😆

PS I am also NOT a coach who purposely chooses awful exercises for the sake of it. There will always be a reason e.g strengthening a weak area/muscle imbalance, helping with pre activation of a muscle and so on. There’s always a reason and we will always check to make sure the right muscles are doing the work 🙌

The people that succeed long term with health goals are usually NOT the people with perfect routines.

They are the ones who learn how to pivot and adjust, rather than quit. 🙏

I never expect perfection from my clients because that’s not fair and not realistic. I just expect you to keep showing up imperfectly.

Remember, we can all smash out a ‘perfect’ 3 week challenge, get results and then quit. But that’s not long term health.

1) Stop skipping meals 🍽️
Restriction often backfires and will lead to stronger/uncontrollable cravings

2) Don’t over supplement 💊
More isn’t better. It can often disrupt your gut bacteria balance and put too much pressure on your body systems.

3) Add don’t Subtract ➕
Instead of cutting foods out, focus on what’s missing from your diet and add it in 🍎🥗🥒🥜🥙
