EXERCISE SHOULD GIVE YOU ENERGY NOT TAKE IT AWAY!!!

"BUT I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY TO TRAIN"
I get it, right now the thought of exercise exhausts you. The thought that someone screaming at me to do just one more is more tear provoking than inspiring. Plus, the energy required to even get there, I don’t even have the energy to turn off Netflix before falling asleep on the couch.

EXERCISE SHOULD GIVE YOU ENERGY NOT TAKE IT AWAY!!!
There is a different approach, one specific to you and your circumstance. The rate of perceived exertion or RPE for short.
One of the key metrics we use at Your Fit is RPE. This is a scale of exertion from 1 to 10, 1 being a gentle stretch on the couch and 10 being the hardest session you’ve ever done in your life. The starting point is always nearer the mid point of the scale 4-5/10.
A focus on building stamina and leaving feeling more energised than when you arrive is critical at every stage of your fitness journey. If we go about it the right way, exercise provides you with a lift, an endorphin release, strength gains, an outlet for you, each session should provide you with more energy not just be another responsibility taking it away. Exercise is a way to not just cope but to thrive.

WHEN EXERCISING THE "RIGHT" WAY YOU SHOULD...
* exercise the right way to give you energy
* build stamina
* feel better within yourself
* gain strength not just burn energy
* create a foundation of strength to grow from

The very nature of the way exercise and fitness are usually promoted evokes energy sapping thought. Calorie deficits, feel the burn, heart rate zones and expel all that excess. What if there isn’t any excess energy, what if you’re flat out where you're at right now. A different approach is needed, one that provides you with energy not just takes it away.
With the right mix of exercises, rest periods and listening to where you are at, you can achieve exactly that.

Congratulations to everyone who competed in the 2026 Runaway Noosa Marathon this weekend!

We had many clients entered for the first time and many personal bests in each category.

This is what it's all about, it was great to see so many of our community on such a fun day. Who's going to join us next year?!

Reformer is a whole body, low impact, resistance based workout with an infinite range of exercises. The benefits range from improved core strength, a better body awareness, balance and stability, injury prevention and rehab.
