Recent stories in the media have highlighted mental health in sport. I love that this has promoted sports people to speak out about their own mental health challenges and encourage people to share their experiences. I feel this builds awareness and reminds us to check in on our family and friends to offer support.......a listening ear.......a smile......a hug.....whatever is needed.
