π± I recently had the privilege of supporting emerging artist Abi with her first market at Two Wells Community Garden!
π― And wow the response from market goers of all ages was incredible - people were truly blown away by Abi's beautiful pieces, and even came back multiple times to admire and chat about her work.
π€ The amount of times we were asked "who does the crochet & who does the painting" became a little inside giggle because the answer each time of course was "Abi does it all!"
πΉFrom tattoo designs, car/motorbike drawings, portraits (specialising in musicians - my gosh can you see her painting of Ozzy Osborne? π±) to crochet flowers & pot plants, the diversity of her practice is PHENOMENONAL!
πΆ Abi was even generously offering quick pet portraits on the day using photos of visitor's pets. To see the joy on people's faces when they received Abis beautiful work after only 10-20 mins (while market multitasking) was so heart warming.
π₯³ An exciting commission opportunity was offered to Abi as a result of her participation, and I'm SO excited to see what she creates next because I just know that she is already beginning to create positive ripples of colour & joy through the community.
π I'll be sharing some of Abi's pieces for sale online over at Honeycomb Gallery Barossa soon, and be sure to support Abi's art practice by following her insta page !
This is the kind of work dreams are made of and I'm so grateful to be a part of it π
