💜 39 legends. One course. A sea of maroon. 💜

What a fantastic way to celebrate Queensland Day at Oakey parkrun!

This morning, 39 parkrunners, walkers and volunteers came together to turn our little corner of Queensland into a sea of maroon. Whether you were chasing a PB, enjoying a walk with friends, volunteering, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, it was another great reminder of what makes our community so special.

👏 A big welcome to our visitors who joined us this morning. We hope you enjoyed your time at Oakey and we’d love to see you back again soon!

🔥 Congratulations to today’s PB achievers:
• Scott Hess – 23:53
• Travis Peters – 27:05
• Andrew Webb – 31:05
• Karina Barron – 32:49
• Olivia Grant – 39:16
• Bec Ross – 39:17

As always, the real win is getting out there and having a go. Every run, walk, volunteer shift and cheer from the sidelines helps make Oakey parkrun what it is.

💜 A huge thank you to our volunteers:
• Curt Batterham
• Jessica McKay
• Ken Cahill
• Valma Cahill
• Irene Weston
• Amy Gamble
• Faith McKay

You make parkrun possible.

📸 Check out the photos and see if you can spot yourself!

👇 We’d love to hear from you:
