Founded in 2007, Great Ocean Stays is a holiday rental and property management service offering boutique accommodation on the Bellarine Peninsular. Long before Airbnb, we advertised ocean-side accommodation through an easy to view online booking website, whatever the specialist needs of the prospective guest. We were one of the first to introduce pet friendly rentals during a period when they were almost unheard of. Within 18 months we won a national award through a popular tourism website for Best National Pet Friendly Holiday Home. We continue to lead and inspire tourism operators and property owners in the region to exceed the expectations of the traveller with service excellence. As part of our commitment to provide inclusive travel and service, we have purpose built a complex of accessible holiday homes in the heart of Ocean Grove. Our build philosophy was to present adaptable homes that respond effectively to the needs of all by providing beautiful accessible spaces. Completed in 2015, these are a welcome addition to the region and a step forward in providing a focus on The Bellarine Peninsular as being “Accessible For All”. Life can change in an instant. Opportunity shouldn't.

Spinal cord injury can change the way someone moves through the world, but with the right support, accessible environments and strong community connections, people can continue to make choices, build independence and live life on their own terms.

At Destination Accessible, we believe inclusion is about ensuring people have the support, respect and opportunities they need to participate fully in everyday life.

Every organisation has a beginning. Ours began with a simple belief: that every person deserves more than support, they deserve a place where they feel safe, respected and truly belong.

Destination Accessible has been supporting people with disability for more than 15 years and has proudly been a registered NDIS provider since the Scheme commenced.

As a women-led organisation, we've never measured success by the number of homes we operate or services we provide. We measure it by the lives we help people build, the trust families place in us, and the relationships we nurture every day.

Our homes are designed to be more than accommodation. They're places where people can build independence, make choices, feel connected and live life on their own terms.

We're proud of where we've come from, but we're even more excited about where we're going, continuing to create welcoming homes, meaningful opportunities and quality supports for the people who choose Destination Accessible.

🏠 Looking for a long-term home, or interested in a short stay to experience Logan House first?

A home isn't simply four walls. It's where routines are built, friendships grow, and people feel safe, supported and free to live life their way.

At Destination Accessible, we're looking for three housemates to make Logan House their home.

Purposefully designed for Supported Independent Living (SIL), Logan House offers the opportunity to create a welcoming home alongside others, with personalised supports that encourage independence, choice and connection.

➡️ What Logan House offers:

Three bedrooms available
- 24/7 Supported Independent Living supports (1:3)
- Accessible features, including a wheelchair-accessible bathroom and ceiling hoist
- Comfortable, single-level home designed for everyday living
- Convenient Geelong location, close to shops, cafés and community amenities

While we're finding the right long-term housemates, Logan House is also available for Short-Term Accommodation (STA), respite, and transitional stays. Whether someone is looking for a temporary stay, needs additional support during a transition, or is considering SIL and would like to experience the home first, Logan House offers a welcoming and supportive environment.

Registered since the commencement of the NDIS, Destination Accessible has been providing Supported Independent Living, respite, accessible accommodation and disability support services for more than 15 years. We know that finding the right home is about creating a place where people feel valued, connected and empowered to live the life they choose.

Lemons, lemons, lemons!

Nandi couldn’t resist picking seven of the most beautiful lemons on her visit from one of Destination Accessible’s SIL homes.

After extensive renovations, this stunning property is now ready to welcome three NDIS participants looking for independent living in a warm, supportive, and beautifully presented home.

The backyard is a true highlight, featuring thriving fruit trees, a greenhouse, and an abundance of fresh herbs, spices, and home-grown vegetables, creating the perfect space to enjoy gardening, cooking, and the outdoors.

This home would also be an ideal opportunity for an existing household of compatible participants who are looking to transition together into a fresh, purpose-designed Supported Independent Living environment while maintaining the relationships and routines that are important to them.
