I stopped taking everything personally when I realised most people are too busy thinking about themselves.

That look they gave you?

Probably not about you.

That text they didn't reply to?

Probably not a secret message about how they feel about you.

That person who seemed off?

They could be dealing with something you know absolutely nothing about.

And that comment that sent you into a spiral?

It might have said far more about them than it ever did about you.

We can spend so much time analysing other people's behaviour.

“What did I do?”

“Are they upset with me?”

“Did I say something wrong?”

“Do they like me?”

“Why didn't they invite me?”

Meanwhile, they're probably at home wondering why THEY said something awkward three hours ago. 😂

The truth is, most people are living inside their own story.

They're thinking about their problems, their insecurities, their relationships, their to-do lists, their own version of what happened.

You don't have to make every behaviour, silence or opinion about you.

And when you stop personalising everything, something beautiful happens.

You get your energy back.

You stop over-explaining.

You stop people-pleasing.

You stop trying to manage everyone's perception of you.

And you become much more comfortable being yourself.

Not everyone will understand you.

Not everyone will like you.

Not everyone will agree with you.

And that's okay.

Your job isn't to control what other people think of you.

Your job is to know who you are.

If you find yourself constantly overthinking other people's reactions, worrying about being liked or questioning yourself after every interaction, this is exactly the kind of pattern we can work through in coaching.

You don't need to spend the rest of your life living in everyone else's heads.

Let's get you back into your own. 💛

If midlife has you feeling like you don't quite recognise yourself lately, you're not alone. 💛

Perimenopause can be so much more than hormonal changes. It can be a season of questioning, shedding old identities, reassessing relationships and wondering, “Who am I now?”

And honestly? Maybe you're not meant to go back to who you were.

Maybe this season is inviting you to meet the woman underneath all the roles, expectations and responsibilities you've carried for years.

The woman who knows what she wants.
The woman who trusts herself.
The woman who takes up space.
The woman who finally gets to ask, “What do I want?”

So if you're in the thick of it right now, be gentle with yourself.

You're not broken.
You're not behind.
You're not losing yourself.

You might just be becoming someone new.

Save this for the days you need the reminder, and send it to your peri bestie who might need a little love today. 💛

Not everyone who enters your life is meant to stay.

Some people arrive and show you what safe, reciprocal, healthy connection feels like. They celebrate you, challenge you, support you and make space for you to be fully yourself. They're the gifts.

And then there are the people who come into your life and trigger every damn thing you thought you'd already healed. 😂

The ones who teach you about boundaries. Self-worth. People pleasing. Trusting your intuition. What you will and won't tolerate.

They're the lessons.

And sometimes we get ourselves into trouble by trying to turn a lesson into a lifetime.

We keep trying to make the relationship work because we don't want to admit that perhaps their purpose was to teach us something, not stay forever.

This doesn't mean every difficult relationship is something you need to walk away from. Some relationships challenge us because they give us an opportunity to grow together.

But there's a difference between someone who challenges you with love and someone who repeatedly makes you abandon yourself.

Pay attention to how you feel around people.

Do you feel safe enough to be yourself?
Can you communicate honestly?
Is there mutual respect?
Do they celebrate your growth?
Can you have boundaries without punishment?

Sometimes the lesson is not "How do I make this person treat me differently?"

Sometimes it's:

"Why am I still accepting this?"

That question can change everything.

And when you finally learn the lesson, you don't need to carry resentment with you.

You can be grateful for what the experience taught you...

and still choose to close the chapter.

Some people are gifts.

Some are lessons.

And some are both. 🤍

💬 Have you ever had someone enter your life who turned out to be one of your greatest lessons?

🌿 Follow for nervous system support, emotional healing, relationship insights and gentle reminders to stop abandoning yourself. And if you're ready to understand your patterns and build stronger self-trust, book a coaching session with me. Let's unpack it together.

27/08/2026

Have you ever gone through a period where you just didn't feel like yourself?

Exhausted for no obvious reason.
Emotional out of nowhere.
Brain fog. Weird sleep. Vivid dreams.
Feeling more sensitive to noise, people or your surroundings.

And then suddenly… the things you used to enjoy don't feel quite the same anymore.

In spiritual circles, these experiences are sometimes described as “ascension symptoms”, the idea that physical, emotional and mental changes can accompany a spiritual awakening or shift in consciousness.

Whether you see it spiritually, psychologically, or simply as your body moving through a period of change, I think there's something valuable in becoming curious about what you're experiencing rather than immediately judging it.

Sometimes your old way of being is no longer fitting.

You're questioning things.
Releasing old patterns.
Feeling emotions you've pushed down.
Wanting different relationships, environments and experiences.

It can feel messy before it feels expansive.

But a little reminder: not every symptom is an “ascension symptom”. Fatigue, pain, sleep changes, brain fog, vision changes and other physical symptoms can have many causes, so please don't ignore something persistent or concerning. Your body deserves proper care too.

The invitation is to listen.

What's changing?
What are you being called to release?
What no longer feels aligned?
And who are you becoming underneath it all?

✨ If you're moving through a big internal shift and want support making sense of the patterns, triggers and emotions coming up, this is exactly the kind of work we can explore together in coaching.

Send me a DM or book a session via the link in my bio.

Maybe imposter syndrome isn't always a sign that you're out of your depth...

Maybe it's a sign you've stepped into a bigger room.

That feeling of "Who am I to do this?"

The urge to shrink back.
The fear that someone will realise you don't know everything.
The temptation to wait until you're more qualified, more confident, more ready.

What if that's not evidence that you're incapable?

What if it's simply unfamiliar?

You've entered a space you've never been in before, so of course your nervous system is looking for certainty.

We often mistake unfamiliar for unsafe.

But growth requires us to do things we've never done before.

Apply for the job.
Start the business.
Put yourself out there.
Raise your prices.
Speak up in the room.
Take the opportunity that feels just a little bit too big.

You don't have to feel completely confident before you begin.

Sometimes confidence comes after you take the step, not before it.

And here's the thing...

The bigger room might feel uncomfortable because you're becoming someone who belongs in it.

So instead of asking, "Who am I to do this?"

Try asking:

"What if I am exactly where I'm meant to be?"

You don't need to know everything.

You just need to be willing to learn, grow and let yourself be seen.

✨ Maybe you're not an imposter.

Maybe you're expanding.

🤍 If you're standing at the edge of something bigger but self-doubt is keeping you stuck, let's work through it together. Book a coaching session with me and we'll uncover the old stories, beliefs and nervous system patterns that are keeping you playing small.

You might be surprised by what's possible when you stop waiting to feel ready.

We hear these phrases so often, we barely hear them anymore.

Just everyday language, right?

Except when you stop and really listen, many of these phrases rely on the same old idea:

Anything associated with femininity is weaker, lesser, more emotional, more difficult or something to be ashamed of.

And that’s what makes casual misogyny so powerful.

It doesn’t always look like hatred towards women.

Sometimes it looks like a joke.
A throwaway comment.
An insult we’ve heard a thousand times.

Sometimes it’s so normalised that we don't even recognise the message underneath it.

This isn't about shaming people for using language they’ve grown up hearing. It’s about becoming conscious of the messages we’ve inherited and deciding whether we still want to pass them on.

Because language shapes culture.

And once you start noticing it...

you really can't unhear it.

👇 What common phrase have I missed?

I’d love to hear the ones you've grown up hearing that make you stop and think, *hang on... what's that actually saying?*

Let's unpack them together.

📢 ADELAIDE WOMEN, THIS IS YOUR SIGN. 👀🥂

If you’re in Adelaide on Friday 11 September and you’ve been saying, “I really should get out and do something for ME…”

Here I am telling you about it.

Because one thing we’ve heard SO many times after events we’ve hosted is:

“I would have come if I’d known about it!”

So… consider yourself officially informed. 😂

And yes, I’d LOVE to have you in the room supporting my business.

But I also want you to come because I genuinely think you’re going to have an awesome afternoon and be so bloody glad you did.

Mils & Kez Unplugged is not a seminar.

It’s not networking.

And it’s definitely not a room full of women pretending they’ve got their s**t together.

It’s an afternoon of honest conversation, laughs, connection, G&Ts, nibbles and those moments where someone says something out loud and you think…

“Oh my God. ME TOO.”

“I thought it was just me.”

“Oh thank GOD.” 😂

We’re talking self-sabotage.

People pleasing.

The things we do to protect ourselves that may now be keeping us stuck.

And then we’re opening the conversation up to YOU.

Because sometimes a problem shared is a problem halved.

And a problem finally understood?

That’s one you can start doing something about.

🥂 Drinks + cocktail-style finger food included

You can love people deeply without giving them unlimited access to you.

Read that again.

Because loving someone doesn't mean you have to answer every call.

It doesn't mean you have to absorb their drama.

It doesn't mean you have to explain yourself over and over.

It doesn't mean you have to tolerate behaviour that leaves you feeling depleted, anxious or small.

You can love someone and still say:

“This isn't okay for me.”

You can care about someone and still create distance.

You can forgive someone without inviting them back into the same position in your life.

You can understand why someone behaves the way they do without accepting behaviour that hurts you.

And perhaps most importantly...

You don't have to stop loving someone to start choosing yourself.

Boundaries aren't walls.

They're the way we teach people where the door is.

And sometimes the most loving thing you can do for a relationship is change the level of access you give it.

If you're struggling with boundaries, people pleasing or knowing where to draw the line, this is exactly the kind of work we can explore together in coaching.

If you are new to my page... allow me to introduce myself!

Hi!, I'm Amilia 👋

For a long time, I was known as the reliable one.

The one who worked hard.
The one who exceeded expectations.
The one who could always be counted on.

And while that woman was real, she wasn't the whole story.

For over 25 years, I built a successful career in real estate administration. I became very good at being what others needed me to be. Responsible. Dependable. Capable.

But quietly, underneath it all, there was another part of me.

The woman drawn to healing.
The woman fascinated by personal growth.
The woman who wanted deeper conversations about life, purpose, intuition, and transformation.

Over the last few years, I've been allowing that part of me to step forward.

And if I'm honest, it's been both beautiful and uncomfortable.

Because being visible as who I truly am feels very different from being valued for what I do.

Recently, I've been exploring some old wounds around safety, visibility, and being seen. I've realised that for many years, staying small felt safer than shining brightly.

Maybe you understand that feeling too.

The strange tension between wanting to be seen and wanting to hide.

Wanting to step into your next chapter while part of you still clings to what feels familiar.

What I'm learning is that healing isn't about becoming someone else.

It's about coming home to who you've always been.

And perhaps that's what this season of life is really about.

Not reinventing ourselves.

Remembering ourselves.

If you're navigating your own awakening, reinvention, or reclamation, know that you're not alone. 🌹

Thank you for being here, it means the world xo
