Qualified & Experienced Part-Time Mental Health Support Worker (NDIS)
Location: Maroubra NSW (local area/community-based)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 3–4 hours per shift, 5 days per week
Must have: Reliable transportation
Pay: SCHADS Award (NSW) — pay rates based on experience/qualification (salary packaging may be available)

The role
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide qualified, respectful and holistic support to NDIS participants. This may include (depending on participant need and support plans):
• Supporting participants with wellbeing, daily routines and goal progress
• Providing practical and emotional support with a trauma-informed approach
• Supporting community participation and appointments (including transport as required)
• Assisting with skills building, independence and confidence
• Maintaining professional boundaries and completing required notes/documentation
• Working collaboratively with the participant, family/support network (as appropriate), and the team
What we’re looking for
• Qualified and experienced in mental health/community support (relevant qualification required)
• Strong, clear communication and professional presentation (well-spoken preferred)
• A holistic mindset and commitment to dignity, respect and recovery-oriented support
• Ability to work independently and follow support plans
• Reliable transportation (required)
Required checks / clearances
• Police check (current or willing to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (current or willing to obtain)
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) (current or willing to obtain)
