today is World Environment Day πŸŒπŸ’š
the planet is always sending us signals through nature, the seasons, and the world around us
this year’s message is about what we choose to notice, and how we respond
taking action doesn’t have to be big, small steps can still make a difference for the environment and for your wellbeing
that might look like:
🌱 Spending time outdoors🌱 Making a simple, sustainable choice
🌱 Connecting with others who care
πŸ’¬ What’s one small action you can make?

this National Reconciliation Week is a reminder that real change needs all of us 🀝

the 2026 theme all in asks us to show up every day not just watch from the sidelines 🌱

for many First Nations young people this work carries history pain and strength, so we move forward with care, respect and honesty πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ

you do not have to be perfect to be part of this you just have to be willing to listen learn and take small actions that matter πŸ‘‚βœ¨

together we can keep building a future that is fairer safer and more connected for everyone 🌏

Today is National Sorry Day. A day to acknowledge and honour the strength, resilience and ongoing journeys of Stolen Generation survivors, their families and communities. We also recognise the lasting impacts of forced child removal and the ways these continue to affect First Nations children, young people, families and communities today.

At headspace, we believe every First Nations young person has the right to access culturally safe, inclusive and healing-centred support.

If today brings up difficult feelings, support is available. Visit the link below to explore support options.πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ

it is national volunteers week and we are so excited to celebrate the incredible people who give their time to support headspace Orange
our youth reference group helps shape what we do at headspace by making sure young voices are heard, seen and valued
being a volunteer means showing up with compassion, sharing your perspective and helping create a space where others feel supported and empowered
we are so grateful for everything our volunteers bring to our community πŸ’š
if you have ever thought about getting involved we would love to hear from you and chat about volunteering opportunities at headspace 😊
