Wangarang Industries is a not-for-profit Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE), based in Orange, established to provide a range of jobs and training for people with a variety of disabilities throughout the Central West region of NSW. Wangarang is essentially a commercial business tha

t provides real work in a supported environment for more than 125 people with a disability, many of whom would otherwise be unable to work. Our supported employees undertake a diverse range of jobs from straightforward to quite complex in a range of work settings from factory based to mobile work crews. Wangarang offers a range of business and domestic services throughout Orange and the Central West, including: Gardening and lawn maintenance, textile production and repair, component assembly, document scanning, shredding, sewing and alterations, labelling, commercial cleaning, mailing and packaging. Wangarang provide services to a large and diverse customer base ranging from individuals and small sole proprietor businesses through to large multinational corporations. In addition, Wangarang also provides Life Choices and Active Ageing day programs. These programs aim to develop and maintain the participantsโ€™ ability to take part in community life, enhance independence, and provide ongoing learning, development and social interaction.

Our Life Skills and Recreation participants rolled up their sleeves, got creative in the kitchen and put skills to the test while helping prepare for the Biggest Morning Tea. โ˜•๐Ÿง

Meet Stevie!
Stevie Morphett-Jones has been part of the Wangarang family since 2017 and is one of the friendly faces helping keep our production team running smoothly each week.

From wine bottle labelling and paper shredding to Store Co kits and rope tying, Stevie is always happy to jump in, learn new tasks and give things a go. In fact, he enjoys work so much he recently added an extra work day to his week! ๐Ÿ‘

Stevie says his favourite part about Wangarang is working in a happy environment with friends and supportive staff who are always willing to help.

Outside of work, Stevie is:
